Affirmations Community Center is celebrating 35 years of providing a welcoming space where people of all sexual orientations, gender identities, self-expressions, and cultures can find support. Creating a space where people feel safe and accepted is key to learning, growth, and community building.
Without the support of businesses like your own, reaching 35 years would not have been possible.
Affirmations has a growing network of people, not only in the Metro Detroit area but throughout the state of Michigan and beyond. From the 45,000 people in our center every year to the 8,000 monthly visitors to our website to the over 20,000 followers on social media, your sponsorship dollars will be visible to all Affirmations’ supporters and clients.

Leading up to Pride month is the perfect opportunity to redo a coming-of-age staple – PROM!
Affirmations is reclaiming this rite of passage, so bring that dream date; drink from the spiked punch; get prom pictures; and dance the night away (with an actual good DJ). This will be a ticketed event with an estimated 350 people at the center.
