Affirmations was founded as a resource hub to connect members of the LGBTQ+ community with safe, affirming resources, including tools to mitigate everyday barriers to well-being. Our services and resource library are designed to address the unique hurdles LGBTQ+ individuals may experience. Through our network you’ll be able to connect with housing services, nutritious meals, and compassionate care in welcoming environments.
Food, Clothing & Personal Care
We can help with free food, clothing, toiletries, safe shower facilities, and other gender-affirming personal care resources.
Transportation
Our Care Management team can connect you to local transportation resources including, ride sharing, non-emergency medical transportation, and more.
Personalized Resource Planning
Sit down with a trained, compassionate Affirmations staff member to talk through your needs and determine a personalized care plan.
Computers & Printing
Our David Bohnett CyberCenter is open during Affirmations center hours (Monday through Saturday) and is available for free computer and printer access.
Housing & Household Resources
While Affirmations does not currently provide housing resources, our team can discuss and support individuals with housing system navigation, along with LGBTQ+ affirming realtors, and other household resources.
